Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 1:45pm, plus Saturday 6:00am – Finish.
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1:45pm – 9:45pm.
Participation in a call‑out rota (approximately 1 week in 6).
Salary: £20.59 per hour + Overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across production equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Repair, test and recommission machinery safely and efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment performance and reliability.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Participate in the engineering call‑out rota when required.
Key Skills
- Strong electrical bias (approximately 70% electrical / 30% mechanical).
- Proven fault‑finding and diagnostic experience.
- Previous experience working with high‑speed automated manufacturing machinery.
- Background within FMCG or another fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- HNC/HND (Level 4/5), City & Guilds Level 4/5 in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
