Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Saturday | 6:00am – 1:45pm (6 shifts)
- Week 2: Monday to Friday | 1:45pm – 9:45pm (5 shifts)
Participation in a call-out rota (approximately 1 week in 6).

Key Responsibilities of an Engineering Shift Team Leader:
- Support the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental objectives.
- Lead, supervise and mentor a team of Engineers, ensuring effective utilisation of skills and resources.
- Coordinate and deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment.
- Lead fault finding and resolve breakdowns on high-speed automated machinery.
- Assist with engineering documentation, records and compliance requirements.
- Support and mentor Engineering Apprentices where appropriate.
- Deputise for the Engineering Manager when required.
- Participate in the engineering call-out rota and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Promote safe working practices and continuous improvement across the Engineering department.
Key Skills of an Engineering Shift Team Leader:
- Completed an electrical apprenticeship or recognised electrical engineering qualification.
- Previous experience within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing high-speed automated production machinery.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritise workloads.
