Location: Tewksbury

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break, Friday 08:00 – 13:00

Salary: Highly competitive DOE + monthly bonuses

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter/Operator:

  • To set and operate CNC machines to produce components efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Set CNC machines to produce components efficiently and to the required quality.
  • Obtain Quality Control authorisation on the first off components.
  • Check all components are machined from the correct material.
  • Ensure all components are processed in accordance with the production layout, raising any discrepancies or required amendments with supervision.
  • Ensure all components are machined to drawing dimensions and tolerances.
  • Ensure all processes are performed efficiently and within set cycle times.
  • Comply with the company’s Quality Control procedures at all times.
  • Comply with the company’s Health and Safety policy at all times.
  • Recommend improvements to methods or processes to enhance quality or efficiency.
  • Maintain work area and machinery in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.
