Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire – A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport is essential for this role.

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to deliver a comprehensive and trusted generalist HR service. This role provides professional advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied effectively and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities of an HR Advisor:

  • Provide generalist HR support across recruitment, employee relations, change, and development.
  • Advise managers on people management in line with employment law and business needs.
  • Oversee HR administration and personnel records.
  • Draft contracts, policies, and HR guidance documents.
  • Chair and minute disciplinary, grievance, and employee meetings.
  • Support induction, exit, and return-to-work processes.
  • Oversee payroll processing in collaboration with the HR Administrator.
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and documentation.
  • Produce HR reports, research, and investigation outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement process efficiencies.
  • Support wider HR initiatives and projects as required.
