Location: Stonehouse
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:15pm; Friday, 7:30am to 12:15pm
Rate of Pay: £12.71 – £13.00 per hour
First Base Employment is currently recruiting a Production Assembler for a well-established manufacturing company based in Stonehouse. This role would suit someone with hands-on assembly experience who is comfortable working from drawings and written instructions in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Production Assembler:
- Working from customer drawings and written instructions
- Assembling cable sub-assemblies, including hand and machine crimping
- Mechanical assembly and cable preparation
- Cutting materials to specification
- Basic component assembly
- Using basic measuring and testing equipment
Experience Required:
- Experience with hand and/or machine crimping
- Wiring experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Soldering experience is beneficial but not essential
