Key Responsibilities of a Landscape Operative:- Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
- Weed control using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- Tree work and general arboriculture duties (if qualified)
- Fencing installation and repairs
- Tree and shrub planting
- Soft landscaping and turfing projects
- Driving to and from sites across a wide geographical area, including North Dorset and the West Midlands
- Ensuring vehicles are returned to the operational depot in Stroud at the end of each day while on agency placement
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar outdoor manual role
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Over 18 years of age (due to vehicle insurance restrictions)
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work extended hours when required
- Arborist qualifications or experience (desirable — higher rates considered)
- Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards outdoor, physical work in all weathers
