We are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join a well-established business based in Gloucester. This role would suit someone at an early stage of their project management career who is looking to build experience, develop their skills and support the delivery of projects across the organisation.
The Role
You will support the coordination and day-to-day management of projects, working alongside experienced Project Managers and internal teams. The role involves a mix of planning, administration, communication and contractor coordination to help ensure projects run smoothly and to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordination of project activities
- Assist with creating and maintaining project plans, schedules and documentation
- Monitor project progress and update trackers and reports
- Coordinate meetings and record notes and actions
- Communicate updates, risks and issues to relevant stakeholders
- Support the management of project changes and dependencies
- Help ensure project tasks are completed to agreed deadlines and standards
- Maintain accurate project records and systems
- Assist with planning maintenance and refurbishment schedules
- Support contractor coordination and scheduling
- Assist with health and safety checks, audits and documentation
- Provide support with procurement and ordering of materials
- Help maintain fault and defect reporting for assets and equipment
