About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation based in Quedgeley. This is a physical, hands-on role with an immediate Monday start, initially on a temporary ongoing basis with the potential to extend for a few months for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, wrap and load and unload stock
- Lifting and moving heavy products
- Support with product assembly and light manufacturing tasks
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading when required
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Check stock for quality and accuracy
- Use warehouse management systems and handheld terminals
- Maintain equipment and follow health and safety procedures
- Work in line with company procedures and site rules
- Provide flexibility to support operational requirements
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
- Reliable and hardworking
- Experience using WMS and handheld picking devices is desirable
- Previous experience in goods in and goods out operations
- Essential: Full UK driving licence, covering manual vehicles, as you will be required to move vans around site
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
