Location: Gloucester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:45pm, Friday 8:00am–12:30pm
Salary: Up to £37,500 per annum, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct patterns and moulds from metal, wood and composite using drawings and CAD data
- Carry out day-to-day production in line with manufacturing instructions
- Set up and operate machinery including sanders, circular saws, band saws, mills and lathes
- Use CNC programming machinery to complete set tasks (where required)
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safe use, cleaning and storage
- Liaise with customers and contractors when necessary
- Support research and development activities
- Reduce waste and dispose of materials in line with company and legislative procedures
- Follow stock control procedures as directed by the Pattern Shop Manager
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
Key Skills:
- Good knowledge of composite materials, woodworking and metalwork
- Experience operating workshop machinery
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- CNC programming experience preferred but not essential
