Location: Cirencester
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid Working: 2–3 days working from home
We’re recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator to join a supportive and established team within a successful organisation in Cirencester.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Health & Safety, HSEQ or compliance administration experience who is looking for a varied role with plenty of opportunity to develop. You’ll provide day-to-day support across the Health & Safety function, helping to keep systems, records and compliance activities running smoothly while working closely with colleagues across the wider business.
The role offers a good mix of routine administration and more reactive work, so would suit someone organised, personable and confident managing a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities of a Health & Safety Administrator
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across Health & Safety and compliance
- Manage incoming queries and ensure information is directed appropriately
- Maintain accurate records, databases, trackers and compliance documentation
- Coordinate regular Health & Safety activities and ensure key deadlines are met
- Support audits, inspections and ongoing compliance requirements
- Prepare reports, meeting documentation and supporting information
- Assist with accident, incident and near-miss administration
- Maintain training, certification and compliance records
- Support PPE and equipment administration
- Assist with policies, procedures and document control
- Liaise with employees and managers across the business
- Provide additional administrative support to the wider team as required
About You
- Previous experience within Health & Safety, HSEQ or compliance administration
- Alternatively, a strong administrator who has supported Health & Safety responsibilities as part of a wider role
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confident managing records, documentation and databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- Able to manage both planned and reactive workloads
- Personable, proactive and comfortable dealing with people across a business
- Full UK driving licence
