Health & Safety Administrator

Location: Cirencester
Salary: Β£30,000 – Β£33,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid Working: 2-3 days working from home

Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Health & Safety Administrator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous health and safety administration experience, or someone who has supported a health and safety function in another industry, and is looking to further develop their career. Working as part of a supportive HSEQ team, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records and supporting a wide range of health and safety activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Health & Safety team.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records, documentation and compliance trackers.
  • Coordinate audits, inspections and compliance activities.
  • Monitor and update HSEQ systems, databases and records.
  • Prepare reports, meeting packs, minutes and compliance documentation.
  • Support accident, incident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
  • Manage training records, certifications and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate PPE ordering, stock control and equipment records.
  • Assist with ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support environmental, sustainability and quality projects.
  • Liaise with employees and managers to provide health and safety administrative support.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and documentation remain accurate and up to date.

About You

  • Previous administration experience within a Health & Safety, HSEQ or compliance environment.
  • Candidates with previous experience supporting a Health & Safety function in another industry will also be considered.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
  • A positive, professional and collaborative approach.
