First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter
on behalf of our client.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled fitter with experience working on industrial
machinery and mechanical equipment.
You will be responsible for:
- Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of components.
- Planned and preventative maintenance.
- Fault-finding, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
- Working on machinery including lathes, milling machines, grinders and radial arm drills.
- Ensuring machinery is maintained to a safe and efficient standard.
- Working both independently and as part of an experienced engineering team.
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
- Strong mechanical fitting and maintenance experience.
- Experience working with industrial/manufacturing machinery.
- Good mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding of health & safety.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Rate of Pay: from £37-42K Per annum
Standard Hours 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thu 8am-2.30pm Friday
