First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Valve Technician for their client who are a leading organisation in the Oil and Gas industry supplying valves and actuators worldwide.
Full Time - Dayshift.
Salary: Β£38-40k + OT/ Offshore Work
Role:
- Strip, inspect, assess, report and rebuild all valve types and operators.
- Fault finding to assess root cause of receipted valve failures.
- Pressure testing to various specifications and international standards.
- Development through continued training.
- PSV recertification campaigns.
- Working closely with co-workers and management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Completing documentation / QA Cards associated with repair scopes and testing.
- Ensuring compliance to documented procedures and customer specifications.
- Travelling to customer locations to carry out field service work when required.
Qualifications:
- Time served with at least 6 years' experience preferable.
- NC/HNC in relevant domain.
- Knowledge on a variety of valve types.
- BOSIET and MIST certified.
