First Achieve Engineering are working in partnership with a global leader in the design, manufacture, and commissioning of advanced engineering systems. Due to continued growth and project wins, they are seeking an experienced Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their highly skilled team.

The Role:

  • Based from Eurocentral with regular travel across the UK and overseas.
  • Supervise site contractors during equipment installation.
  • Carry out site acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment.
  • Perform mechanical/electrical fault finding, maintenance, and repairs as needed.
  • Travel required Monday to Friday; overseas work may extend to 4-5 weeks at a time (agreed in advance and shared across the team).

Requirements:

  • Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer (C&G/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with drives, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Competent in PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred) and HMI systems.
  • Understanding of temperature control instrumentation and control panels.

Desirable (not essential):

  • BS7671 18th Edition or C&G 2391-52 qualification.
  • Ability to modify PLC code (training provided).
