First Achieve is seeking an experienced Panel Wireman/woman to expand their career with a leading switchgear manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be time served from an electrical background with experience of panel wiring and electrical/mechanical fit outs of switchgear.

Duties are a combination of but not limited to:

  • Proficient in reading drawings to wire panels correctly
  • Panel Wiring
  • Common Control Wiring
  • PLC Wiring
  • Copper Busbar fitting
  • Wiring and fitting of Switchgear, Switchboards and Distribution boards
  • Wiring and fitting of MCC's
  • Occasional site work may be required (UK based)

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in a similar role is essential
  • Experience of panel wiring
  • Experience dealing with Switchgear/switchboards
  • Testing experience of Electrical Switchgear panels and MCC's would be beneficial
