First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Lead Fitter for a global leader in today’s top performing industrial pumps and motors sector.
Requirements:
- To carry out mechanical fitting activities associated with the overhaul, repair and testing of rotating equipment, predominantly pump assemblies.
- Knowledge of centrifugal pump overhaul and maintenance is desirable.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years’ experience in working with rotating machinery, primarily pumps and motors.
- 5+ years’ workshop experience in the disassembly, reporting and assembly of rotating machinery.
- Experience working within a workshop environment.
- Experience with PME (precision measuring equipment).
Education:
- Time served craftsperson within a mechanical discipline.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance.
