What you'll do:

  • Lead New Product Introduction projects, managing technical objectives, timelines, budgets, and delivery.
  • Drive process improvement across CNC machining and manufacturing operations, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure all components meet the highest standards (ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Provide technical leadership, from interpreting engineering drawings to approving design changes.
  • Mentor and guide your team, building a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key liaison for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and technical alignment.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, contributing to bids and project planning.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong background in CNC machining and precision engineering.
  • Hands‐on experience with NPI, offline programming, and modelling.
  • Sound understanding of metal treatments, plating, and painting processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • A passion for quality, teamwork, and delivering results.
  • Strong commercial awareness and IT literacy (ERP, MS Office).

Desirable but not essential:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, 5S, SPC, FMEA, or Design for Manufacturing.
  • Experience working within aerospace, defence, or other high‐spec sectors.
