Engineering Manager – Precision ManufacturingSalary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Glasgow

Contract: Full‐time, Permanent

What you\’ll do:

Lead New Product Introduction projects, managing technical objectives, timelines, budgets, and delivery.

Drive process improvement across CNC machining and manufacturing operations, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Oversee quality control to ensure all components meet the highest standards (ISO 9001, AS9100).

Provide technical leadership , from interpreting engineering drawings to approving design changes.

Mentor and guide your team, building a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Act as a key liaison for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and technical alignment.

Manage budgets and resources effectively, contributing to bids and project planning.

What you\’ll bring:

Strong background in CNC machining and precision engineering.

Hands‐on experience with NPI , offline programming , and modelling .

Sound understanding of metal treatments, plating, and painting processes .

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

A passion for quality, teamwork, and delivering results.

Strong commercial awareness and IT literacy (ERP, MS Office).

Desirable but not essential:

Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Familiarity with Six Sigma, 5S, SPC, FMEA, or Design for Manufacturing.

Experience working within aerospace, defence, or other high‐spec sectors.
