First Achieve are working with our valued client in Worcester to recruit an experienced Auto Electrician to join their Finishing Shop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a specialist manufacturer of recovery vehicles, taking pride in building quality products from the ground up.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for installing, testing, and fault-finding electrical systems on both light and heavy recovery trucks. From making up wiring loom junction boxes to fitting ancillary equipment, you’ll ensure all vehicles leave the shop in top working order. You’ll also support the wider team with occasional hydraulic and mechanical fitting work.
Key Duties:
- Electrical fitting, testing & fault finding on new recovery vehicles
- Making up wiring loom junction boxes and ancillary equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on used vehicles
- Assisting with hydraulics and mechanical fitting when required
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a commercial vehicle Auto Electrician (required)
- Ideally 3+ years in automotive electrics
- Experience with automotive, commercial vehicles, construction plant, truck body work, or forklift trucks
- Confident in your workmanship and problem-solving skills
