First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking an Engineering Lead (Pumps) for a global leader in today’s top performing industrial pumps and motors sector.
Requirements:
- Coordinate, advise & execute aspects of the Alloa high integrity pumps business coordinating engineering support relating to the design, upgrading/modification, and maintenance of various types of rotating equipment.
- Mentor & support Alloa (APS) operations design team & ensuring that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality is maintained in accordance with the HSEQ management system.
Objectives of the role:
- Responsible for the on-time completion of all Alloa high integrity pumps engineering tasks and undertakings to the highest standards of professionalism, safety and quality.
- Promote and maintain a team culture of professionalism, openness, honesty, commitment and continuous improvement at all levels of the business.
- Actively support and promote the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and other policies and procedures always.
- Establish and build a good working relationship with all customers both internal and external.
- Continue to broaden the Alloa (APS) operations team’s design knowledge and expand depth of knowledge specifically relating to products and services.
- Preparation of product definition (quality plans) when required.
- Identify performance improvements.
- Preparation of design reports.
- Support Alloa design team members and department with respect to engineering design issues.
- Ensure product integrity is always maintained.
- Ensure engineering related non-conformance reports (NCRs) are resolved timeously.
