First Achieve Engineering Department is working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected engineering business with a long-standing reputation for delivering precision-engineered solutions to critical industries worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to play a key role in driving manufacturing efficiency, continuous improvement, and machining excellence within a fast-paced production environment.

The Role

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure components are produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with operational teams, machine shop personnel, and suppliers, you will support CNC machining operations through process development, CNC programming, tooling improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role will involve both hands-on technical support and strategic process improvement activities across CNC and manual machining operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify CNC programs using Siemens, Mazak, and Heidenhain programming languages
  • Prepare and update manufacturing methods, tooling details, setup instructions, and process documentation
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using Lean Manufacturing principles
