As part of our expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Time Served Turner. The candidate will join a team dedicated to manufacturing high-quality components for a range of industries, including Aerospace, Utilities, and Food and Drink.
- Proven experience as a Manual Turner
- Competence in setting and operating manual machines is essential
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently
- Producing high quality parts to close tolerances
- Quality Inspection and documentation of own parts
- The ability to work as part of a small team using your own initiative
- Experience in manual milling or toolmaking is advantageous
An attractive hourly rate and benefits package is available for the successful applicant. There are opportunities for professional development, including training in CNC programming, milling, and grinding. Overtime is compensated at time and a half on weekdays and at double rate on weekends. Flexible part-time arrangements are available.
