About the Role:

As a Sand Blaster, you'll play a vital role in preparing metal parts - ranging from small components to large fabrications - for the finishing process. You'll be working inside a dedicated blast room and will be responsible for ensuring all components are thoroughly cleaned and prepared to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work to specific production schedules and deadlines
  • Pick and assemble kits of parts using checklists
  • Load and unload items for blasting
  • Operate and maintain blasting equipment, including checking and changing filters, nozzles, and dust extraction units
  • Keep your workspace clean, tidy, and safe
  • Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and wear all required PPE
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Sand blasting experience preferred, but not essential - full training provided
  • Licences: Valid forklift and/or overhead crane licences desirable
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, positive, can-do attitude, willingness to learn and take ownership of the role
