We're looking for a Plating Operator (NO Experience Required) to join our client's Glasgow team as part of our ongoing expansion. You'll play a key role in operating manual chemical plating lines for various coatings and ensuring production quality meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plating lines using coatings like Zinc, Zinc-nickel, Electroless nickel, Gold, and Silver
- Monitor chemical tanks and make necessary adjustments
- Perform X-ray thickness testing
- Complete process documentation accurately
Qualifications & Skills:
- Standard Grade level education
- Good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Experience in plating or precision manufacturing is a bonus - training provided!
What We Offer:
- Full-time, permanent role (Monday-Friday, 37 hours/week) - £12.21/hr
- Shift rotation with allowance once trained
