Electrical Panel Builder / Plant Wirer will be responsible for the electrical build and wiring of complex industrial equipment, working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure projects are delivered to specification, quality and budget.
Responsibilities
- Building electrical control panels, remote boxes and terminal boxes in line with issued schematics and layout drawings
- Electrical wiring of complete projects using engineering-issued cable schedules
- Installation of trunking and tray systems, ensuring neat, efficient routing and minimal material waste
- Liaising with engineering to resolve queries and ensure schematics and cable schedules are accurate and up to date
- Carrying out electrical testing of plant and equipment under the guidance of production supervision
- Supporting production to ensure electrical tasks are completed within agreed job budgets
- Completing electrical repairs to workshop plant and machinery as required
- Carrying out PAT testing of company portable electrical equipment
- Supporting on-site electrical work at customer locations when required

Qualifications
- Qualified to 18th Edition standards
- Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Forklift or scissor lift licences, experience working at height, and flexibility to travel would be advantageous but are not essential
