Salary: £19PH not including shift allowance for back shift

Our client is a well-established aerospace engineering manufacturer based in Fife. Known for precision engineering and high-quality standards, they are expanding their machining team and seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join them on a temp-to-perm basis.

What you will be doing?

  • Set, operate, and program CNC milling machines (Fanuc Controls).
  • Produce precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Carry out quality checks using measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, CMM if applicable).
  • Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering and quality teams.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems.
  • Experience in aerospace, precision engineering, or similar high-tolerance environments.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (desirable but not essential).
