The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, programming and operating CNC Horizontal borer using Heidenhain controls, producing high-quality precision components from detailed engineering drawings.   • Set, programme and operate CNC boring machine using Heidenhain controls.
  • Manufacture precision components from detailed engineering drawings.

  • Work safely and follow all company health and safety procedures.
  • Contribute positively as part of the workshop team to meet production schedules.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Ability to set, programme and operate CNC machines using Heidenhain controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable, conscientious and safety focused.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a busy subcontract machining environment.
  • Experience machining a variety of materials and components.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality standards.
