The Company

The Role
We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a skilled team based on the south side of Glasgow. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes, reading technical drawings, and producing high-precision parts to tight tolerances. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday on a 2-week rotating day and night shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC machinery, including Mills, Lathes, and Turning Centres
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and basic machine troubleshooting
- Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment
- Comfortable working rotating shifts (days and nights)
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with aerospace or defence manufacturing standards
- Experience working on critical components
- Proficient in using manual inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
