First Achieve Engineering Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer to recruit a Deburr Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with the potential to secure a permanent position after 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting components for burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects
- Operating deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders, and rotary tools
- Following blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes
- Using microscopes or magnifiers for detailed deburring work when necessary
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area
Requirements
- Previous experience in deburring, fettling, or metal finishing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Desirable Experience
- Background in aerospace or precision engineering
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
