About the Role
First Achieve Engineering are working with their prestige client seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Turning Lathe Operator to join their growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC turning machines, producing precision components to tight tolerances, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC turning lathes to produce precision components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machining issues
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC turning lathes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of machining principles and tool selection
- Experience with quality control procedures and measuring equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts/overtime when required
Desirable
