Job Description
First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join a Global organisation in the Falkirk region.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding techniques, with the ability to assemble various components to meet specifications.
This role requires knowledge and proficiency in using both power and hand tools, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What's on Offer:
- Permanent, Staff Position from Day 1
- Circa £18.40 per hour for standard hours
- Overtime available at 1.5X Standard Rate
- One Friday off, EVERY MONTH
- 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
- Up to 8% Pension contributed by the business.
Responsibilities:* Fabricate and weld metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.* MIG, TIG & MMA Welding Experience* Cut, roll & shape steel to design specifications
- Read and interpret welding & manufacturing drawings* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in fabrication tasks.Qualifications* Time Served in Welding / Fabrication with a minimum of SVQ Level 3* Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely.* Ideally, a minimum of 10 years' experience within the industry
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
