Main duties of the job
The Digital Doctor will work closely with the Digital Team, Partners, Senior Leadership Team and Medical Directors to shape and deliver the strategy, vision, and delivery of safe service to patients registered with First 4 Health Group.
Responsibilities
- Drive digital innovation and explore digital systems across the organisation.
- Manage, support, and motivate the digital team.
- Oversee training and record supervision within the Digital Team.
- Effect and report on demand and supply metrics to practice leadership alongside the Non‑clinical Digital Team Lead.
- Expand the scope of the digital team as directed by First 4 Health Group leadership.
- Document and maintain training materials to improve team knowledge and performance.
- Enhance patient care quality via effective triage processes.
- Promote efficiencies aligned with the strategic priorities of First 4 Health Group.
- Contribute product improvement suggestions to accuRx and collaborate on data insights development.
- Action appointments and doctor triage queries on AccuRx.
- Identify opportunities to develop new non‑clinical pathways.
- Drive QoF and SNS targets related to patient triage.
Metrics
- Number of full GP appointments per 1,000 patient triage requests.
- Time until completion (from patient request submission to marked as done).
- Patient feedback (Google reviews and patient complaints).
- Number of clinical safety incidents.
Qualifications
- Fully registered with the GMC.
- General Practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained.
- On a PCT Medical Performers List.
- Further qualifications relevant to general practice.
- MRCGP.
- Enhanced CRB Check & Current Certificate.
- Current CRP Certificate.
- Willingness to work at multiple sites.
- Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Internet etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to take on leadership roles within the federated group of practices.
- Effective team worker and self‑motivated.
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Education.

Experience
- Qualified GP.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a small team.
