Site Services & Safety Controller
Location: Amesbury, Wiltshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (8:00 - 16:30 Mon - Thurs & 8:30 - 12:30 Fri)
£40-50k DOE
Must drive and be able to visit other sites
We are recruiting for a proactive and organised Site Services & Safety Controller to join a busy operational site in Amesbury.
This is a key role supporting the day-to-day running of site services while helping to maintain a safe, compliant and well-organised working environment. You will work closely with site teams, contractors and management to coordinate facilities-related activity and promote strong health and safety standards across the site.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate site services, facilities and general maintenance requirements
- Act as a key point of contact for contractors and service providers
- Support site health and safety procedures, inspections and compliance activity
- Carry out routine safety checks and assist with risk assessments
- Monitor and report hazards, near misses and maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records, including compliance, contractor and service documentation
- Help ensure the site remains clean, safe, secure and operationally efficient
- Support continuous improvement across site services and safety processes
About you
- Previous experience within site services, facilities, maintenance coordination, health and safety, or a similar operational role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Confident communicating with colleagues, contractors and external suppliers
- A practical, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Competent IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records
Desirable
- NEBOSH qualification
- IOSH qualification
- Experience working within a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or similar fast-paced site environment
