Our client is a long-established manufacturing business who have offices worldwide and are leaders in their field. They have been operating in Kent since late 1970, and the business has grown from strength to strength. Due to business demands, our client is looking for an experienced distribution and warehouse operative to join their friendly team.
The Role: To provide an effective Stores and Warehouse service to their business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick & pack products and organise appropriate dispatch with relevant transportation in accordance with "Goods Outwards" procedure
- Input information regarding the despatch of products
- Carry out goods inwards and product return
- Rotate stock when needed, ensuring traceability of products
- Load and unload vehicles using forklift when necessary
- Sample counting and stock control
- General warehouse duties
Suitable Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a components/parts warehouse
- Computer literate
- Previous forklift experience
- Goods In and Goods Out experience
- Picking and packing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours when required.
Hours: 8 am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday
