Firmin Recruit are pleased to be working with our established distribution company based in Aylesford, Kent. Our client has been established since 1975 and has offices worldwide. Due to business growth, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Fulfilment Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team. The overall purpose of the role is to unload/load containers and trailers, pick and pack large pallet orders, and perform general warehouse duties.
Hours: 7 am - 3.30 pm or 8.30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday (varies each week). Overtime is occasionally required.
Holidays: 29-day holiday including bank holidays. Parking, pension, sick pay full after first six months of employment, bonus scheme, overtime, uniform.
The Role:
- To pick, pack and despatch outbound orders on behalf of a range of eCommerce and fulfilment clients.
- To receive and process returned merchandise.
- To perform re-work and labelling tasks.
Suitable Candidate:
- Previous experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Previous picking/packing experience is necessary.
- Good MS Excel/Office package skills.
- eCommerce warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Flexi-Truck licence (not essential, as training will be given).
- Great customer service skills.
- Willing to go above and beyond.
- A can-do/positive attitude.
- Physically fit, as the role requires manual handling and some heavy lifting.
