In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards across our production facility, ensuring our equipment and work areas are always clean, safe, and ready for use. You will work closely with our production and maintenance teams in a collaborative and supportive environment where your contribution truly makes a difference. Your key responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine and deep cleaning of production plant, machinery, floors, walls, and associated equipment in line with site hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and ready for use in accordance with the production schedule, minimising downtime and supporting efficient operations.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly in full compliance with COSHH guidelines, maintaining accurate cleaning records and documentation at all times.
  • Identify and promptly report any equipment damage, leaks, or abnormalities to the supervisor or maintenance team to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support waste disposal, housekeeping activities, and preparation of areas for maintenance, including basic isolation tasks once fully trained.
  • Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to continuously identify opportunities to improve cleaning standards, processes, and overall site hygiene.
