Laboratory Technician – Permanent
Location: Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire
Reporting to: Laboratory Manager & Senior Flavour Technologist
Department: Taste, Texture & Health
Join our Taste, Texture & Health team as a Laboratory Technician, supporting flavour innovation through compounding, testing, and laboratory management. This role offers hands-on experience in flavour creation, exposure to international projects, and the chance to grow your expertise in a science-led, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as dedicated compounder for the site Flavourist
- Prepare flavour samples for evaluation, development, and client submissions
- Conduct laboratory tests (Brix, pH, density, flashpoint) using standard equipment
- Manage stock of raw materials, flavours library, and packaging supplies
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper waste disposal
- Support administrative tasks including orders, dispatch, and record keeping

You Bring
- Science-based A level or HND in Food Science/Technology (or equivalent)
