We have an excitingopportunity for a Reception Manager to join ourhighly successful team at The Soho Hotel.As a Reception Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of ourReception department, ensuring that every guest receives a personalised andunforgettable experience.

In this pivotal role, you will be part of our dynamic management team,driving the success of our reception operations. You will need to be ambitiousand adaptable, ready to handle a variety of scenarios with ease. Yourleadership will be key in managing staff, from recruitment and training toongoing employee relations. Your goal will be to ensure the team is performingat its best, providing top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the reception team with enthusiasm, fostering a positive andproductive work environment.
• Conduct annual appraisals, manage professional development, and ensureevery team member reaches their full potential.
• Uphold the high standards of Firmdale Hotels, ensuring consistency inservice and operations.
• Produce weekly and monthly departmental reports for the Deputy andGeneral Manager.
• Assist with daily operations, demonstrating a hands-on approach whenneeded.

What you Need:

• Proven experience as a Reception Manager or Reception Supervisor in ahigh-end establishment.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a passion for developingothers.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicateeffectively and professionally.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment, adapting tovarious situations as they arise.
• A high level of understanding of current hospitality trends andcompetitor insights.
• Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to drive thehotel's success forward.
