We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Interiors Architect to join our in-house design team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the full lifecycle of high-profile hospitality projects across our portfolio, from concept to completion. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our distinctive interiors, leading architectural detailing, and ensuring the seamless integration of functionality and design excellence across all areas. Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior architectural design for hotel and restaurant projects, including public spaces, guestrooms, spas, and F&B outlets.
- Oversee all technical design stages, from concept development and space planning to detailed joinery, lighting layouts, and construction drawings.
- Collaborate closely with Kit Kemp and the wider design team to uphold the Firmdale aesthetic while bringing fresh, innovative ideas.
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure technical precision and design integrity.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring consistent design standards and best practices.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and site visits to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Architecture.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience, ideally in high-end hospitality or luxury residential interiors.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and FF&E coordination.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects to successful completion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Exceptional eye for detail, materials, and finishes.
- Clear communicator, organised, and confident managing multiple projects.
