We are seeking a Head Housekeeper for our prestigious Number Sixteen Hotel, a boutique property known for its refined elegance and distinctive charm. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the impeccable presentation and cleanliness of our hotel, ensuring that every guest enjoys a flawless stay.

As Head Housekeeper, you will lead a dedicated team, guiding and inspiring them to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and leadership abilities will be crucial in maintaining the luxurious environment that our guests expect.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, fostering a collaborative and high‐performing team environment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our exacting standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Provide continuous training and support to your team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to excel in their roles.
  • Work closely with the Reception team to coordinate daily operations, address any maintenance issues, and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Develop and manage daily checklists, control stock, handle ordering, and contribute to departmental planning and forecasting.
What You Need
  • A proven track record as a Head Housekeeper or Deputy Head Housekeeper in a 5‐star luxury hotel.
  • A hands‐on approach with a passion for upholding the highest luxury standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage positively with guests, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost care.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a talent for managing a busy, dynamic environment.
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and develop your team, creating a positive and motivated workplace.
