Are you a resourceful hunter who loves finding the right people and starting conversations? FirmBooks provides white-label bookkeeping, VAT returns and year-end accounts for UK accounting practices β all delivered under each practice's own brand. We help practice owners handle overflow work without hiring, and we're growing fast. We're looking for a driven SDR to fuel that growth.
What you'll do
- Own the top of our sales funnel from scratch. We don't hand you a list of leads β you'll find them.
- Research and identify UK accounting practices that fit our ideal customer, track down the right decision-maker, start conversations, build interest, and book qualified meetings into our closer's diary.
- Research and build your own prospect lists of UK accounting practices using LinkedIn, online directories, professional bodies and web research.
- Identify the right decision-maker (practice owner or partner) and find their contact details.
- Reach out via LinkedIn, email and phone to spark interest and start conversations.
- Qualify prospects against our ideal customer profile (small-to-mid UK accounting practices).
- Book qualified discovery calls into the closer's calendar and confirm attendance.
- Chase no-shows and follow up politely and persistently.
- Keep the CRM clean and up to date with every prospect and interaction.
- Hit weekly targets for prospects found, conversations started and meetings booked.
About you
- A resourceful self-starter who can find prospects and build lists from scratch β you don't wait to be handed leads.
- 5 years experience selling for B2B.
- A confident, friendly communicator who enjoys starting conversations.
- Persistent and organised β you follow up without being told twice.
- Comfortable researching online and reaching out via LinkedIn, email and phone.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Good written English and professional tone.
- You don't need accounting experience β we'll teach you the product.
Nice to have:
- Previous SDR, telesales, appointment-setting or lead-generation experience.
- Experience with prospecting and list-building tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lemlist or similar).
- CRM familiarity (HubSpot, Pipedrive).
- Any exposure to B2B, professional services or the accounting world.
- Driving Licence.
What we offer
- Β£45,000 base, depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission (Β£2,000-Β£3000 per month).
