About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Midweight Digital Designer to join the category creative team of a major global client - owning projects from brief through to localised, market-ready assets across EU10+ locales. This is a hands-on production design role for someone who takes real ownership of the quality of their work - someone as fluent in Figma as in the fundamentals of great design, and equally comfortable owning the initial design of a project as executing flawless localisation, export and delivery. You’ll play a key part in delivering category creative across homepage, storefront, outbound and social placements - working at pace and at volume without compromising on craft, consistency or brand quality. The role is fully embedded in the client’s design team and will be hybrid (2-3 days in the office) with regular client-site work. You must thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments where high standards and creative ambition align.

Responsibilities:

  • Own category projects through their full lifecycle - interpreting the brief, setting up the working files, designing the core assets, rolling out localisation across markets, and exporting and delivering final assets to the required standard.
  • Design assets for strategic activations, collections, sales and deals, seasonal and high-visibility events - including homepage placements, desktop and mobile heroes, dashboard cards and outbound (push and email).
  • Own the initial design direction of a project, setting up master files that others can build and localise from.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet client expectations and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Work hands-on in Figma to build production-ready assets, components, and prototypes - including master templates, shared libraries and organised project files.
  • Keep production and delivery tools up to date - uploading final assets, adding file links and providing process updates in the project management tool.
  • Prepare product imagery for design - searching, downloading and prepping product shots, including background removal and retouching.
  • Roll out translated assets across EU5 / EU9 / EU10 markets (dependent on brief), export to the required specifications and complete final checks - asset counts, cover details and error-free delivery.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs across all deliverables, maintaining quality and attention to detail at all times.
  • Integrate AI tools (including GenAI image-generation and AI photoshoot workflows) as an active and considered part of your daily creative workflow, looking for opportunities to use templates and automation to deliver faster and more consistently.

About You

The essentials:

  • 3-4 years of experience as a digital / production designer in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating craft across multiple formats and channels (homepage, storefronts, outbound, social).
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including working from shared templates, component libraries, and style guides.
  • Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop - image retouching, background removal and product imagery prep.
  • Experience delivering localised creative across multiple markets and languages (EU markets a strong plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail - accurate asset counts, clean file organisation, and error-free final delivery.
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to take creative direction and work autonomously to a high standard, without needing constant oversight.
  • Confident stakeholder management - able to take a brief, ask the right questions, manage expectations, and communicate clearly.

Not a must, but a plus:

  • Experience working within global brand guidelines, with an understanding of how to maintain visual consistency across a large-scale brand system.
  • Experience with GenAI tools and AI photoshoot / image-generation workflows applied to creative production.
  • Experience with creative automation or templated production workflows.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail media, or digital advertising creative production.
