Our retained client is in an exciting transformative growth phase and they combine a dynamic work environment with a stable established base. They are a market leader in residential property acquisition, collaborating with the country’s leading property developers and agents. They are currently expanding and looking for ambitious individuals to join their experienced, friendly, and growing lead generation team.
Business Development Manager – Role Overview:
This role focuses on driving leads and referrals from key accounts. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships, attending key meetings, and promoting/advocating the company\’s offering. Travel to clients is required locally (3-4 times per week); the ideal candidate will be mature, a natural people-person, independent, and possess excellent relationship skills.
Business Development Manager – Responsibilities:
- Attend client (estate agent/new homes) meetings to promote their product and train external teams.
- Build and maintain profitable relationships with B2B clients through face-to-face visits, emails, and calls.
- Provide excellent service, responding swiftly and effectively to their needs and requests.
- Proactively manage the meeting schedule with clients.
- Track and analyse sales reporting, using data to highlight and plan process improvements.
- Report internally and externally to clients on the results of the sales strategy.
- Use their CRM to maintain and analyse all data.
- Work closely with the Relationship, Valuations, Marketing and Customer Teams across the business.
- Performance is measured by the volume of leads/acquisitions, profitability, and the quality of customer service.
Business Development Manager – Your Profile:
- Several years’ experience in residential estate agency to senior/management level.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Highly commercial, results focused.
- Strong skills in customer service and relationship management.
- Numerical/data driven.
- Experienced working with B2B clients.
- Proficient using MS Office and comfortable to work with various software platforms.
- Comfortable using CRMs, Salesforce ideally.
- Full UK driving license and own car.
Business Development Manager – Package:
- Salary guided £35-40,000 basic, plus commission & bonus taking it to £50-55,000 OTE.
- Additional travel, mileage and car allowance (£3,500) is on top.
- Monday to Friday – travel in your local region (3-4 times per week), with occasional trips to the London office (1-2 times per month).
