Role Purpose:
The Commercial SDR, Fire Safety Systems is a results-driven, commercially minded role responsible for building new relationships with operational property managers and estate operators, positioning Firetecnics as a trusted, credible partner for the maintenance of life-critical fire safety systems. The role blends persuasion, technical understanding, and disciplined CRM execution to generate qualified, permission-based opportunities for renewals and portfolio expansion. This role is designed for an ambitious commercial professional who wants to develop full-cycle sales capability over time, with clear progression into a quota-carrying sales role based on performance.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Proactively build new relationships with property and estate operators through outbound and warm introductions
- Conduct confident, structured discovery conversations focused on fire safety maintenance and operational pain points
- Book in appointments for our Senior Business Development team
- Able to grasp high-level technical concepts and compliance requirements quickly, without needing to be an engineer
- Secure permission-based agreement to quote or benchmark buildings approaching renewal
- Maintain excellent CRM hygiene in HubSpot with same-day updates and complete records
- Participate in pricing discussions, proposal shaping, or joint calls as development towards a closing role
What We’re Looking for:
- Proven experience in B2B sales development, SDR, or commercial roles
- Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with operational and technical buyers
- Highly organised with disciplined CRM usage
