The Role

The Delivery Manager is responsible for owning the delivery relationship for assigned clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects and change requests. This role acts as the primary point of contact for delivery, ensuring alignment between customer needs, product priorities, and delivery plans. Working across Product, Engineering, and Data, the Delivery Manager ensures that work is clearly understood, appropriately scoped, and delivered in line with expectations. The role focuses on coordination, communication, and execution, ensuring that customers remain informed and confident throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Ownership + Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary delivery contact for assigned clients
    • Build strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders
    • Ensure client needs and priorities are clearly understood and communicated internally
  • Change Requests + Delivery Intake
    • Capture and translate Change Requests into structured delivery tickets
    • Ensure requests are clearly framed with objectives, constraints, and context
    • Work with Product to ensure requests are refined and prioritised appropriately
    • Contribute to delivery planning, including timelines, milestones, and resource needs
    • Maintain accurate delivery tracking in tools such as Jira
  • Project + Delivery Execution
    • Coordinate delivery across Product, Engineering, and Data teams
    • Ensure work progresses in line with agreed timelines and priorities
    • Manage dependencies across teams and ensure smooth handoffs
    • Contribute to improving delivery processes and team effectiveness
  • Risk + Issue Management
    • Identify delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies early
    • Escalate issues where necessary and support resolution
    • Ensure risks are communicated clearly to both internal teams and clients
  • Communication + Reporting
    • Provide clear and regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and next steps
    • Maintain transparency with customers on timelines and expectations
    • Act as a central point of contact for delivery-related queries
  • Governance + Client Engagement
    • Support regular client governance meetings and updates
    • Ensure delivery commitments are tracked and communicated
    • Help maintain alignment between customer expectations and delivery capability

Skills + Experience

Essential Criteria

  • 1-2 years' experience in delivery, project management, or client coordination roles
  • Strong experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience engaging directly with customers
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Understanding of delivery processes (Agile or hybrid)
  • Strong risk and issue management capability, with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate delivery challenges

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working with Jira
  • Knowledge of the travel insurance industry
