Firehouse Subs Team Member is a role that works well with others to ensure total guest satisfaction. Our goal is to make guests feel welcomed while supplying them with the best hot sub in town. A portion of every purchase in 2020 at all US Firehouse Subs locations goes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to give lifesaving equipment to first responders. All because at Firehouse Subs, we believe that making great subs is not enough; you must do good, too.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring guests leave the restaurant with a positive impression of Firehouse Subs every time
- Maintaining fast and accurate service while ensuring all products are consistent with quality standards
- Maintaining an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace
- Communicating effectively with guests and handling questions and concerns professionally
- Food preparation
- Maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to all established food and safety guidelines
- Participating in all Firehouse Subs® Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives
- Accountable for preparing the guest’s order
- Willing to complete other restaurant functions such as cashier or cleaning per management direction or any other duties assigned by a member of the leadership team
Qualifications
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment standing/walking/moving for long periods of time
- Team player attitude
- Ability to memorize menu and recipe specifications
- Ability to remain calm and focused during high volume periods
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend, reach, push/pull, and stand for long periods of time
- Must be 16 years + of age
- Must have reliable transportation to be ready to work at scheduled times
- Obtain a valid Food Handlers Card within 30 days of starting
