The Opportunity
Firefly SE, a leading Swedish company specializing in fire detection solutions, is looking for an Area Sales Manager to take full ownership of our UK & Ireland customer base. This is a key role where you will be at the forefront of our regional sales efforts, working closely with distributors and key accounts to drive business success.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing and being fully accountable for all customer accounts within the UK/Ireland region
- Developing strong relationships with distribution partners across the UK
- Identifying and targeting new key accounts in line with company objectives
- Frequently travelling to visit prospects and customers (50% of your time)
- Representing Firefly SE at industry exhibitions as an exhibitor or delegate
- Delivering impactful presentations on our company and products
- Collaborating with our European teams and Swedish HQ to ensure seamless operations
What You Bring to the Role:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or a related field) and 10+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or a similar role in international sales
- Sales & Technical Acumen: A proven track record of customer relationship management and leading technical development projects
- Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced, global environments with tight deadlines
- Independent and team-oriented – able to thrive in both settings
- Open-minded, collaborative, and always looking for ways to improve
- Technically curious, eager to learn, and adaptable to new technologies
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision
