What you'll do
- Help contributors publish their first stories, replying within a working day
- Check claims, sources and permissions before anything goes live
- Sign off everything our new tools touch, so a person approves every story
- Write simple guides and short how-to videos, and join the team's updates and calls
You
- Have editorial experience and sound judgement on accuracy, fairness and legal risk
- Are patient and clear with first-time writers
- Are confident with digital publishing tools and careful with records
Pay and the contract
- £1,600 to £1,740 a month for 14 days a month, depending on experience (full-time equivalent about £30,000 to £32,600), plus 28 days' holiday a year pro rata including bank holidays, and a workplace pension
- Fixed-term employed, 1 November 2026 to 19 March 2027 (start date by agreement)
