At Firefish we help recruiters work smarter with technology that drives results. As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll shape how the market sees our product, turn insights into messaging that resonates, and lead campaigns that convert interest into measurable growth. You’ll own how we tell our story, engage our customers and scale by shaping how recruiters understand our product. You’re responsible for setting our strategic narrative, positioning, and go-to-market - then converting that into inbound demand. You won’t run every ad or email yourself, but you own the inbound growth engine: targets, strategy, messaging, content plan, website conversion, and the enablement that helps sales turn interest into revenue.

You partner tightly with Product, Sales, CS, and the wider Marketing team to make sure every launch, page, and campaign connects recruiter pains to clear value—and to measurable commercial outcomes.

Here’s a flavour of what you’ll be doing:

  • Driving inbound growth by creating qualified pipeline and boosting conversion rates
  • Owning messaging and building narratives that link recruiter pain points to clear ROI
  • Leading product launches and shaping pricing, packaging, and adoption strategies
  • Delivering content, SEO, and AI-driven optimisation to fuel demand
  • Optimising journeys, landing pages, and forms to maximise demo conversions
  • Implementing lifecycle and nurture programs that move prospects through the funnel
  • Enabling Sales with battlecards, ROI tools, and actionable competitive insights
  • Mentoring and developing a team while delivering quick, measurable wins

You’ll excel if you have…

  • B2B SaaS product marketing experience (5+ years) with significant product marketing or demand-generation experience
  • Proven track record of driving inbound MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline value, including website conversion and lead-to-opportunity optimisation
  • Experience building messaging frameworks, value propositions and proof points that link customer pain points to measurable ROI
  • Led product or feature launches, aligning marketing, product, sales and customer success teams
  • Owned content strategy, including pillar pages, case studies and SEO/AEO programmes with demonstrated use of AI and modern martech tools for content optimisation
  • Designed and executed lifecycle marketing and nurturing campaigns, with segmentation and lead scoring
  • Delivered sales enablement materials and actionable insights from win/loss, competitor, and customer feedback
  • Managed or mentored team members, raising execution standards and delivering early commercial wins

And you’ll get bonus points for…

  • Domain familiarity with recruitment tech (ATS/CRM, job boards, sourcing, placements)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, CMS platforms and CRO/testing tools
  • Exposure to pricing, packaging or go-to-market strategy decisions
  • Experience working closely with product teams in Agile environments

We appreciate that to have a good life at work you need to have a good life outside of work too! So, for this role we offer:

  • A basic salary of £48,000 - £53,000 per annum
  • Remote-first working & flexible hours: adjust your schedule to fit around your out-of-work commitments (as long as you’re here for our core hours!)
  • 33 days holiday (25 annual leave + 8 public)
  • Medical cashback for optical, dental, therapy treatments and consultations up to £1170 per year for you, and additional allowance for dependent children
  • Private healthcare, GP service, healthclub discounts, retail discounts and cashback
  • 24/7 mental health support line, face-to-face CBT sessions, and in-house mental health first aider
  • Structured career development programmes and in-house coaches
  • Regular social events online, at our Glasgow Aquarium, and at exciting external locations
  • Company awards, kudos...and plenty of fish puns 🐠
