Role Description:
The Junior Graphic Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Huddersfield, supporting the design team in the creation of high-quality visual assets across both digital and print channels. This includes marketing collateral, product packaging, presentations, and social media content, all produced in line with established brand guidelines.
Working closely with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams, the successful candidate will interpret creative briefs, contribute innovative ideas, and develop design solutions that are both visually engaging and practical for real-world application.
The role also involves managing design files, adhering to workflow processes, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard within agreed deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to produce clear, engaging visual communications.
- Skills in Logo Design and Branding to support the creation and refinement of brand identities across multiple product lines.
- Good understanding of Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and readability in both digital and print formats.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent tools).
- A portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and practical application of design principles.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, work to deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback within a team environment.
- Relevant education in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. (Degree or similar)
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Interest in product design, manufacturing, or home and hospitality sectors is beneficial.
